Legal Aid of West Virginia (LAWV) is conducting a statewide Community Needs Assessment.
What does that mean? We want to serve our clients’ needs. To do that, we need to understand legal needs in West Virginia and if those needs are being met.
The first step in this process is getting a community response to our survey. The results of this survey will inform our decisions on aspects of legal help for our clients.
If you are a community member anywhere in West Virginia, we want to hear from you!

The full Community Survey takes most people 8-12 minutes to complete.
Everyone who takes the full Community Survey will be entered in a drawing for one of eight gift cards.
The shorter surveys should take 3-4 minutes to complete.

As a community or service provider, you have a system-level perspective on the legal issues people face, the barriers to getting help, and opportunities for stronger coordination with LAWV’s staff and services.
