Jeff C Woods receives Kaufman award at 2025 Annual Meeting

The West Virginia State Bar congratulates Jeff C. Woods, Recipient of the 2024 Kaufman Award.

The recipient of the 2024 Kaufman Award is Jeff C. Woods. Jeff is a long-time volunteer at Legal Aid of West Virginia. In 2024, Jeff donated over 116 hours of his time in five different divorce, custody, and adoption cases. Jeff is a private practitioner in Hurricane, West Virginia. He is also the Pastor of the Church of Christian Faith in Charleston, West Virginia. Mr. Woods’ mindset to help others is based on his mother’s reminder that “God has blessed me with a gift; and if I did not beneficially share it with others, I would lose it.”

Woods was named winner by Legal Aid of WV at the WV State Bar Annual Meeting on April 3, 2025.
