BHHF – Behavioral Health and Health Facilities – WV Bureau of Behavioral Health and Health Facilities. State agency within the Department of Health and Human Resources with a mission to provide services to persons with mental illness, chemical dependency, developmental disabilities and those at-risk. BHHF tries to help who do not qualify for Medicaid or other funding, who are at risk of institutionalization, involuntary hospitalization, out-of-home and often out-of-state placement, who can be supported in their homes and communities with services.
