2025 Campaign: September 15-26
The JustOne Campaign is a way for West Virginia attorneys, as well as other justice-loving individuals, to help support LAWV’s work by donating ONE gift, ONE time a year, in an amount (for attorney donors) that is at least equivalent to ONE hourly billing rate. Since its inception, this effort has raised over $850,000 from the legal community to support much needed services.
A healthy Legal Aid is important to West Virginia’s courtrooms and legal profession:
- LAWV ensures equal access to justice
- LAWV enhances confidence in the legal system
- LAWV alleviates strain on the courts
- LAWV reduces the burden on lawyers and staff by providing resources for the public
- LAWV offers pro bono opportunities that expose attorneys, new and experienced, to different perspectives and skills
